Tower Technician II

JHC Ventures is seeking a motivated Tower Technician II to perform telecommunications system installations, maintenance, and repairs. You will be responsible for climbing cell towers daily to execute technical tasks under the direction of the Tower Foreman, ensuring all work is done safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Execution: Climb cell telecom towers daily to perform antenna installation, maintenance, and repair duties.
• Safety First: Follow all health, safety, and environment (HSE) procedures at all times.
• Resource Management: Ensure the appropriate usage and care of all installation materials, tools, and equipment.
• Quality Control: Identify and correct failures during and after the installation process to meet quality standards.
• Operational Support: Provide full support in all installation activities as instructed by the Tower Foreman.
• Reporting: Assist in the documentation and reporting of site activities.
• Schedule Adherence: Maintain productivity to align with project schedules and monthly site goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in similar telecommunications roles.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a focus on Telecommunications or Electronics is preferred.
• Certifications: NWSA Telecom Tower Technician 1 Certificate.
• Safety: Current certifications in OSHA (10 or 30), CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, RF Awareness, Rigging, Climbing, and Rescue.
• Physical Ability: Ability to climb towers daily and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.
