I transferred to West Palm Beach , Fl to work in the Central Office as no outside plant jobs. Started out in the Equipment dept working on Radio Equipment. TD2,TH3,TM-Tl and Collins microwave. There was also 100A switching equipment and FM switching gear to maintain. This dept was task with the teat and turn-up of newly installed equipment in the office. After working in this Dept for a year I was moved to the Carrier dept to work on N, ON, BN, T-CXR L CXR, LMX2 Mux , L-3 Cxr and C-1 Alarm center. The Alarm center was the center of South and Center Fla TD-2 Radio Stations-on coastal and mid state routes. I then move in the new T-CXR that was being installed and turned-up for the new 4A switching system being installed in the office on the top floors. I move next to the Private Line where I worked on customers Voice and Data services. I spent several year working in Special circuits both testing and installation. I next-ed went to 4ESS switching school in 1978 and 1979 for six months. The new switch was delayed so I had a chance to go the Datec Data Service training for a month in January of 1980 followed by three months of working in the District office Atlanta, Ga in the support job of Data Services Datec. I then returned to the office in WPB. Fl in May working back in Special Service. I received training in Ocean Cables for Fiber systems 280Mbps,and 3Khz channel Digital Cables system. I then was sent to training in cable splicing to backup outside plant as needed. I then was move to the tranport dept to work on DACS II,DACS III, and DACS IV that were used with the Fiber Optic transport system. FT-G and Other Fiber transport system. I then was ask to be the office PBX administrator on a new office PBX Lucent System 75.
I remained the system admin for twelye years as part of my other job responsibility. I then was moved back to the carrier dept at work on a project of installing and turned up of old technology to Cuba in the form of Ocean L-cable to Cuba. the Old/New cable turned up in 1989 with 143 Voice circuit to Havana,Cuba.
After project completed I was selected to join a new Team call Network Disaster Recovery The team started with meeting once a quarter in Atlanta,Ga. to find a direction for this team to grow to meet the Company needs and requirement for this team to provide if needed. I started with approximately 70 people for both mgt and Tech both inside and outside plant to work on this team. I was a member of this team for twelve years. I the office I worked in the Ocean Cable Dept as new Digital cables were being installed the new system had new digital mux and were Fiber Optical 5Mbps system in the Caribbean Islands.

I started working in Radio Relay working on TD-2 & Collins Microwave radio system in Clewiston, Fl. I worked on Mtce and Installing of current and new equipment on a Route from Miami to Polk City Fla. I was assigned three stations to care for This included working on AC & DC power equipment. AC generators and performing mtce on HVAC equipment

Worked on 486L Tropo Scatter system in Greece for a year. Returned to USA to Eglin AFB Fla to work in ECM on R&D for fighter mounted equipment and B52 bombers.
