IT Club Officer: Provided local residents with technical support with their hardware and/or software in an interpersonal setting. Also, was responsible for documenting all IT Club meetings and sending out e-mails to all other members, among other responsibilities and duties as an officer. Additionally, participated in the Spring Clinic, where many local residents come in and discuss their computer issues with us. Then, attempt to resolve their issues with promptness in a team oriented effort.
Independent Computer Repair Business: Provided a professional and respectful atmosphere with customers and provided a wide array of technical skills. Such as, OS Upgrades (Microsoft & Linux), reformats, adding various peripherals, deleted data retrieval, initial internet set-up (dail-up; DSL; cable), Virus/Malware/Spyware removal, various troubleshooting needs, hardware upgrades, faulty hardware diagnoses (computer hardware & network peripherals), running cable, and general technical advice.
Brooke County Library/ADBC Museum internship: Diagnosed and fixed multiple application and peripheral malfunctions after Windows 7 upgrade from Windows XP. Provided help and maintained a friendly and professional atmosphere with librarians and other employees. Edited and put new web pages up on the ADBC website using an HTML editor and FTP Commander to transfer files to the web server. Converted VHS to digital format. Troubleshot and diagnosed a new touch screen-computer. Wrote various technical guides pertaining to hardware and software for employees. Created a home-group platform for all museum related computers.

I am highly skilled in troubleshooting both network malfunctions and a variety of computer hardware and software problems. Also, I am always open and willing to learning new knowledge, techniques and skills to improve my abilities and I'm comfortable either working independently or in a group setting. Additionally, I have excellent internet research abilities, along with a typing average of 85 words per minute
I am fluent in a number of programs and operating systems, such as, Word, Excel, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2008 (R2).
With my past experience in working construction, I am confident in my abilities to construct needed additions, such as shelving, wall mounts, or other general needs that my present themselves for network additions. Furthermore, I'm capable and willing to complete all necessary physical tasks.
