Entry Level Tower Technician

We are hiring motivated individuals to start a career as a Tower Technician. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment on cell towers and rooftops. 80–90% of the work involves climbing towers.

Travel required within IL, WI, and IN. Employees must be able to stay out of town during the week and occasional weekends. Company-paid hotel and weekly per diem provided.

Upon hire, employees will participate in paid, in-house training to obtain the required certifications and develop the skills necessary for the role. All training equipment is provided by the company

Duties

• Climb, work on, and descend telecommunications towers, monopoles, rooftops, and other structures at heights of up to 1,000 feet.
• Assist with tower construction and antenna installation
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, and install materials safely and accurately.
• Conduct basic inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment and report issues to crew leads or foremen.
• Work as part of a 3–4 person crew
• Follow OSHA and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Construction experience preferred.
• Willing to travel and work outdoors year-round
• Physically able to climb towers and perform rescues
